Rosemary Simple Syrup

Ingredients
1 1/3 cups water
1 cup sugar
3 sprigs fresh rosemary ((4-5 inches each))
Method
Step. 1 Heat the water and sugar in a small pot over medium high heat.
Step. 2 Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step. 3 Remove from heat, add the rosemary, and let the rosemary sit in the syrup to infuse, at least one hour.
Step. 4 Remove the rosemary from the syrup, if desired. Store the syrup in a container. Keep the syrup refrigerated up to two weeks.
